Mark Clintberg’s work responds to archives, architectures and antecedent practices through writing, textiles, installation, sculpture and artist’s multiples. Collections holding Clintberg’s work include the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa) the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (Montreal) and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (Edmonton). He has completed residencies at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and Walk &ampampamp Talk Azores. He teaches at the Alberta University of the Arts. In 2013, Clintberg was shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award.
