Antonia Hirsch’s practice mobilizes abstracted forms and raw materials of digital image and communication technology. Her work ranges from installations, using both sculptural and media formats, to intimate drawings. Hirsch’s work has been exhibited at, among others, the Contemporary Art Gallery (Vancouver) MIT List Visual Arts Center (Cambridge) The Power Plant (Toronto) Salzburger Kunstverein Taipei Fine Arts Museum Tramway (Glasgow) Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art (Rotterdam) and ZKM Museum of Contemporary Art (Karlsruhe). Her works can be found in public collections such as that of the Vancouver Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa). She published the anthology Intangible Economies (2012) and the reader Negative Space (2015).
