Rachael Tycoles is a Winnipeg artist whose subject matter is landscape and the loss of identity experienced through the erosion of social and economic changes. Her dystopian landscapes express the romantic and a sense of longing, as well as the possibility of hope and aspiration. Rachael has a B.A. from The University of Winnipeg, a B.F.A. (Honours), University of Manitoba, and a M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati.
Tycoles has exhibited on a local, national and international level and has many works in private and public collections.
She lives in Winnipeg and works from her home studio.
