Irene Bindi is a visual artist who uses variations of collage and sound in projects that exploit structural and material elements of experimental cinema. She alters and reconstructs moving and photographic images using paper.
Bindi has exhibited at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Tweed Museum, Duluth, PlugIn ICA, and the Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast among others, and will have a solo exhibition at Museum London in 2021.
She holds an MA in Film Studies from York University. Her most recent work is reviewed in the forthcoming issue of Border Crossings.
